Honey Hits Your Door

Fresh jars arrive with harvest notes, farmer stories, and seasonal varietals to explore.

Why Local Honey

Not all honey is created equal

Most grocery store honey is imported, ultra-filtered, and sometimes adulterated. The pollen, enzymes, and flavor get stripped out. Local raw honey is a completely different product.

Seasonal Allergy Support

Local pollen in raw honey may help build natural tolerance to seasonal allergens.

Traceable to the Hive

Every jar includes the farmer's name, hive location, and harvest date. Zero mystery.

Supports Local Pollinators

Your subscription funds beekeepers who maintain healthy colonies that pollinate our food.

Incredible Variety

Wildflower, buckwheat, cranberry bog — local honey changes with the seasons and landscape.

Lower Carbon Footprint

Your honey travels miles, not continents. Local means less packaging, fuel, and waste.

FAQ

Got questions?

Every jar comes from a small-scale beekeeper in New England — MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, or RI. We match you with a farmer near your zip code. Each jar includes the farmer's name, hive location, and harvest date.

Yes. Our farmers never heat honey above natural hive temperature (~95°F). It's strained to remove wax but never ultra-filtered. All enzymes, pollen, and beneficial compounds remain intact.

Many people report seasonal allergy relief from local honey. The theory: small amounts of local pollen help your body build tolerance. Scientific evidence is still emerging, but it's one of the top reasons people subscribe. Either way — it's delicious.

Absolutely. Cancel or pause with no penalty. We earn your subscription every month. Annual subscribers get prorated refunds on unshipped months.

We're launching in New England first to keep things truly local. National expansion is on our roadmap — join the waitlist and we'll notify you when we reach your area.

Most store honey is mass-produced, imported, ultra-filtered — sometimes adulterated with corn syrup. You have no idea where it came from. With RentABee, you know the farmer, the hive, and the harvest date. Fresher, more nutritious, and you're directly supporting your local food ecosystem.
